Hi! I'm Madhura, and I live in the UK! I'm originally from India, Calcutta (though i should say Kolkata really! but the colonial name sticks!) Umm, what else? can't think..... hmm, well random bits of info, my name basically means honey-ness! lol! and thats supposedly a reflection of my personality (it was also the inspiration behind the lj name! *winks*)

I'm hoping to university in London, where I would like to have an awesome time, then become a doctor (depending on my grades in exams).

But, apart from being a nerdy scientist, I also like spending time developing my creative side! I love to write - given the time and inspiration or else I become cranky. Unfortunately, this had made me a bit of a grammar pedant, making me very angry or laugh outright at incorrect use!
When I'm not being annoying about the written word, I enjoy taking photographs, I'm lucky that I live beside the sea, as the light is usually amazing and admiring established artists' as well as my friends' artwork - which of course make LJ one of the most amazing places on the net for me...
I'm bored of filling this in now, so I may or may not fix it up properly later.
